Traffic and transportation enthusiast Rob Sanders, better known in the YouTube community as Road Guy Rob, has released a catalog of fun and informative videos answering such questions as "How do Interstate highways happen?", "Why are toll booths going away?" and "How do engineers make bridges earthquake safe?".

In his latest video as part of his Ask the Experts series, Rob caught up with Iteris' Brian Girardot and Caltrans' Mohammed Bendelhoum to learn more about the history and benefits of video detection vs. induction loop detection.
