Joe Bergera
President and Chief Executive Officer

Joe Bergera is president and CEO of Iteris, having joined the company in September 2015. With over 20 years of leadership experience in several technology companies, Joe is an industry veteran with particular expertise in the use of technology to solve complex problems in global vertical markets. At Iteris, Joe is an advocate for the use of smart mobility infrastructure management solutions to achieve safe, efficient and sustainable mobility. Previously, Joe served as group vice president, software of Roper Technologies, Inc. (formerly Roper Industries) and president of iTradeNetwork, a Roper subsidiary. Prior to Roper, Joe held positions as executive vice president at CCH Wolters Kluwer and at Sage Software. Joe earned a B.A. degree in Government from Colby College, an M.B.A. from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and an A.M. in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
Douglas Groves
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Doug Groves is senior vice president and chief financial officer at Iteris, having joined the company in December 2019. Doug has more than 30 years of unique and highly valuable experience. Most recently, he served as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Ducommun, Inc., having joined the company in January 2013. Through December 2012, he held the position of corporate vice president and chief information officer at Beckman Coulter, following a series of financial roles at the company beginning in January 1998. Beckman Coulter was acquired by Danaher Corporation in February 2011. Prior to joining Beckman Coulter, Doug was corporate controller of a privately held civil engineering firm and senior auditor and consultant at Deloitte & Touche. Doug earned an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.S. degree in Accountancy from California State University at Long Beach.
Scott Carlson, P.E.
Vice President and General Manager, Mobility Professional Services

Scott Carlson is vice president and general manager, Mobility Professional Services at Iteris, having joined the company in 2000. With over two decades of experience in intelligent transportation system (ITS) planning, design and integration, and traffic engineering and operations, Scott is primarily focused on helping public transportation agencies implement sustainable traffic management solutions that achieve safety, mobility and sustainability. At Iteris, Scott is an advocate for alternative delivery models that bundle Iteris’ professional design services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings into cloud-enabled managed services that provide a more cost-efficient yet significantly more effective solution for agencies to manage their traffic and ITS systems. In addition to assisting agencies in improving safety and mobility throughout complex transportation networks, Scott has a strong focus on promoting the sustainable nature of Iteris’ solutions and helping to improve the environment by reducing carbon emissions. Scott earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Will Cousins
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Applications and Cloud Solutions

Will Cousins is senior vice president and general manager, Applications and Cloud Solutions at Iteris, having joined the company in March 2022. With more than 25 years of experience, Will is a technology industry veteran who has proven expertise in the IoT, artificial intelligence, enterprise and wireless product markets. At Iteris, Will draws on his extensive experience developing cloud-based products for various global vertical markets, including transportation, public sector, automotive, financial services and telecom, to lead the development and commercialization of the software-as-a-service and data-as-a-service offerings that form part of Iteris' ClearMobility Platform. Previously, Will served as vice president, products, design and automotive OEM solutions at Zonar Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Continental AG, where his team was responsible for shipping cutting-edge hardware devices to connect commercial vehicles to the cloud. Prior to that, Will served at large public companies like Nuance Communications and Microsoft, as well as early-stage companies. Will earned his B.A. degree at the University of Arizona and an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (now Arizona State University).
Todd Kreter
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Advanced Sensor Technologies

Todd Kreter is senior vice president and general manager, Advanced Sensor Technologies at Iteris, having joined the company in November 2007. With over a decade of experience working on the vanguard of mobility-focused technology, and as many years dedicated to enterprise data management, Todd is a technology futurist with particular expertise solving complex problems at the intersection of business and technology. At Iteris, Todd is an advocate for multimodal detection, connected vehicles and smart communities, and has co-developed more than 10 patents. Previously, Todd served in executive positions at Quantum Corporation, most recently as vice president, global services. Todd earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Fullerton.
Jeff McDermott
Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Jeff McDermott is senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Iteris, having joined the company in July 2017. With over 20 years of senior-level, strategic HR experience in the technology, healthcare and education sectors, Jeff is an executive advisor and business partnership champion with particular expertise in strategy, internal communications and business process re-engineering. At Iteris, Jeff is an advocate for attracting, developing and retaining the best talent to create a healthy, scalable organization that will help achieve the company’s strategic goals. Previously, Jeff served as principal of McDermott Talent Advisors. Prior to starting his own consulting practice, Jeff was vice president of HR at Pacific Dental Services, assistant vice president, talent acquisition at Corinthian Colleges and senior partner at McCormack & Farrow. Jeff earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Davis and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
Al McGowan
Senior Vice President, Business Development

Al McGowan is senior vice president, Business Development at Iteris, having joined the company as part of Iteris’ acquisition of TrafficCast International, Inc. in December 2020. With over two decades of senior leadership experience in the mobility data, digital media, aerospace and energy sectors, Al has helped create and manage numerous companies to deliver products, content and experiences at the leading edge of technology. At Iteris, Al is an advocate for exploring new ways to leverage strategic assets, relationships and experience to enhance our leadership in the smart mobility infrastructure management space, and expand our footprint in the commercial sector. Previously, Al served as chief executive officer of TrafficCast, prior to which he was CEO of Redlasso, SVP and co-founder of Traffic.com, and president of Shadow Traffic. Al serves on the board of Cambridge Mobile Telematics. Al earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.
Mark Nogaki
Senior Vice President, Sales

Mark Nogaki serves as senior vice president, Sales at Iteris, having joined Iteris in 2019. Mark’s extensive professional experience comprises engineering, data analytics, product management, marketing and sales management, and his industry experience is equally as diverse, including the aerospace/military systems, semiconductors, financial services software, data management and analytics, and transportation sectors at companies ranging from global giants to early-stage start-ups. At Iteris, Mark is an advocate for bringing ever-higher levels of advanced mobility solutions to Iteris’ customers, improving safety and sustainability to the community, combined with levels of service and support that the marketplace demands and deserves. Mark oversees Iteris’ sales, product support, customer success, and sales support operations. Prior to joining Iteris, Mark served as senior vice president, Sales at Econolite Control Products, Inc. Mark obtained both his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Pierre-André Rebeyrat
Senior Vice President, Marketing

Pierre-André “P-A” Rebeyrat is senior vice president, Marketing at Iteris, having joined the company in September 2018, previously serving as vice president and general manager, Agriculture and Weather Analytics. With almost 20 years of senior-level strategic marketing experience, P-A has particular expertise in corporate strategy, product marketing and go-to-market strategy. At Iteris, P-A is an advocate for the use of smart mobility infrastructure management solutions to achieve safe, efficient and sustainable mobility. Previously, P-A served in strategic positions at Trimble, most recently as strategic marketing director, as well as key roles in marketing, product management, strategic planning and business development at John Deere. P-A earned a B.B.A. degree in marketing from Temple University. He also holds an M.B.A. degree in marketing, finance and strategy from the Kellogg School of Management, as well as an M.E.M. degree from the McCormick School of Engineering, both at Northwestern University.
Joe Reed
Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Joe Reed is senior vice president and chief technology officer at Iteris, having joined the company as part of Iteris’ acquisition of TrafficCast International, Inc. in December 2020. With over three decades of senior leadership experience in the public and private-sector technology space, Joe has an established history of delivering innovative, mission-critical consumer and business-oriented products across all mediums, with a particular focus on mobile. At Iteris, Joe is an advocate for promoting a cloud-first strategy in both the public transportation agency space and commercial sector, and leads the development of Iteris’ mobility data management engine, web and mobile applications, API framework, and microservices ecosystem to support the company’s solutions for smart mobility infrastructure management. Previously, Joe served as chief technology officer at TrafficCast, prior to which he was vice president, advertising products at Nokia, and chief information officer and founder of Traffic.com. Joe serves on the board of Harena Data, Inc. Joe earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Temple University.
Moe Zarean Ph.D., P.E.
Vice President and General Manager, Mobility Operations Services

Dr. Moe Zarean is vice president and general manager, Mobility Operations Services at Iteris, having joined the company in May 2002 and served in management positions since 2012. With over three decades of experience in traffic management and operations, Moe is an internationally recognized expert in the field of intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and has authored over 100 reports, papers and technical presentations in this field. At Iteris, Moe is an advocate for the planning, design and implementation of ITS in the areas of advanced traffic management systems, advanced traveler information systems, advanced rural transportation systems, traffic operations centers, and connected and automated vehicles. Moe has led key ITS projects in the states of Florida, Georgia, Virginia, New Jersey, Maine, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas and California, as well as countries including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Moe is a past board member of the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s ITS GuideStar Program and has served as president of ITS Virginia. Moe earned an M.S. degree and Ph.D. in Transportation from The Ohio State University.
