Upcoming Webinar: How Agencies Are Getting Ahead of Event Congestion with ClearGuide
Big events are great for bringing people together—but not always so great for the roadways that have to handle the surge. Whether it’s a sports event, music festival, or a seasonal tourist rush, major planned events can seriously disrupt traffic flow and put extra stress on the community. And for agencies already juggling day‑to‑day operations, preparing for those spikes can feel like a whole separate job.
In our upcoming webinar, “Event Congestion: Planning, Managing, and Measuring Disruptive Traffic Events with ClearGuide” we’re bringing together experts from Iteris, LA Metro, and the Montana Department of Transportation to show how real-time insights and historical traffic data can make major events a lot easier to manage—before, during, and after they happen.
Agencies across the country are using ClearGuide® to better understand and respond to disruptions tied to big events. During the webinar, LA Metro will walk through how they're preparing as one of the 11 U.S. host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including what they learned from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in Pasadena.
They’ll also share how they’re gearing up for the 2028 Summer Olympics, which is basically the ultimate test of transportation planning. It’s a massive lift, and their team is already deep into the details.
On the other end of the spectrum, MDT will highlight the challenges in more rural settings—like handling concert-driven congestion in Billings or the seasonal crush in Big Sky and Yellowstone, where tourism spikes and record snowfall collide to create unique mobility issues. ClearGuide is helping them pinpoint problem areas, understand patterns, and reduce the guesswork.
