Webinar: Combining Datasets to Maximize Arterial Performance

1 min. Read • Posted 08/13/2020 by David Sadeghi

Hosted by ITS Midwest's Scott Lee and presented by Iteris' Tiffany Symes, Allison Palumbo and Joe Ciccarelli, this presentation discusses the importance of using multiple datasets to obtain an accurate measure of performance along a corridor.

Automated traffic signal performance measures, or ATSPMs, leverage high-resolution data from the controller to report intersection-level analytics, while utilizing a third-party GPS platform allows for obtaining broader, corridor-based metrics. Combining both of these data types into one platform allows for a complete approach to arterial performance measurement.
