Iteris is proud to announce its membership with OmniAir Consortium, the leading industry association promoting interoperability and certification for intelligent transportation systems (ITS), tolling, and connected vehicles.

As part of Iteris’ commitment to helping public transportation agencies and commercial enterprises achieve safe, efficient and sustainable mobility through vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology, and advanced sensing and communications systems, this membership will serve to help OmniAir advance its testing and certification programs. Safety-focused initiatives such as those that Iteris and OmniAir are leading contribute to the growing effectiveness of V2X technology, which is critical in reaching the goal of Vision Zero.

“In line with our goals of ensuring safe, efficient and sustainable mobility, and readying cities and states for advancements in connected and automated vehicles, Iteris is delighted to join OmniAir Consortium, which is dedicated to advancing the testing and certification of connected vehicle and infrastructure programs,” said Frank Provenzano, business development manager, Connected Vehicles at Iteris.

“We are excited to have a true innovator like Iteris as our newest OmniAir Member,” said Jason Conley, executive director of OmniAir Consortium. “The company’s deep experience and expertise in intelligent transportation systems and V2X technologies will help OmniAir to advance its testing and certification programs for connected vehicles and infrastructure.”
