Moova Mobility Platform Enters North America with Local Delivery and Support

Mobility Platform that unites multiple transit technology solutions is now available to transit agencies of every size across the United States and Canada

Santa Ana, CA – July 28, 2026 – Iteris - Almaviva Group today announced the introduction of Moova to the North American market, making its integrated, modular mobility platform available to transit agencies across North America. Proven at scale in Europe, Moova will be delivered locally through Iteris, part of Almaviva Group, with North American-based development, implementation and customer success teams.

Transit agencies in the Americas continue to operate using fragmented legacy systems for scheduling, dispatching, operations, rider information, and fare collection. This technology is typically sourced from different vendors and is rarely integrated end-to-end. With Moova, agencies can unify their technology stack into a single platform without having to replace existing infrastructure, adopting one solution area at a time or operating the full integrated platform from day one.

"North American transit agencies face the same challenge our European customers faced a decade ago: too many siloed systems, too little integration, and not enough flexibility to evolve. Moova was built to solve exactly that problem," said Eric Reese, Senior Vice President Iteris - Almaviva Group and head of the new Transit division. "By introducing Moova in North America with local delivery and support, we can help North American agencies modernize at their own pace while working with a partner that understands their complex operating environment, is accountable, and committed to their long-term success."

An integrated platform built on open standards

Moova is Almaviva Group’s integrated, modular, and seamless mobility platform, connecting multiple modes of transportation in a single technological framework that supports shared, sustainable, multimodal, and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) operating models. It brings together multiple transit technology solutions into a single platform that simplifies operations management and supports a system-wide approach to event response.

In North America, the platform comprises four solutions: Service Planning and Dispatching, Operations Management, Real-Time Passenger Information, and Smart Mobility. All solutions are built on open standards (including ITxPT), so agencies can retain ownership of their data and the flexibility to integrate with their preferred vendors. Moova’s open architecture technology unifies data from any source into a single, configurable control center, giving agencies complete operational visibility across modes, operators, and systems.

A dedicated North American Team

For the North American market, Moova is being localized for regional requirements, including ADA, GTFS-RT publishing, and NTD reporting, to name a few. Through Iteris, Almaviva Group will support agencies with North American-based engineering, deployment, customer success, sales, and marketing resources while developing a regional ecosystem of systems integrators, hardware suppliers, and channel partners.

Iteris - Almaviva Group is now engaging with public transit agencies in the United States and Canada. Agencies and integration partners interested in Moova can contact the team in North America at transit@iteris.com.

The launch of the Moova Platform in North America reinforces the strategic positioning of Iteris and the Almaviva Group as a key global leader in smart mobility.
