August 7, 2012 - Iteris, Inc., a leader in providing intelligent traffic management information solutions, is soliciting proposals for Sponsorship Opportunities of Georgia's 511 NaviGAtor traveler information system. The Request for Proposal (RFP) package is available to download atGDOT 511 RFP.

Georgia 511 is a sponsor-supported public service of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) that can be accessed at www.511ga.org, or by phone by dialing 511 anywhere in the State of Georgia. The system improves transportation mobility and safety by providing travelers with real-time, route-specific travel information by identifying incidents, roadwork construction, congestion, and road weather conditions statewide.

Iteris, through its subsidiary Meridian Environmental Technology, has been the exclusive supplier of Georgia's 511 system since 2006. Considered an innovator in the Advanced Traffic Information System (ATIS) industry, the company operates 511 systems in 11 states.
