Iteris on Team Selected for Three-Year Performance Measurement Contract With Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission

-Contract Combines Iteris’ Leading Performance Measurement Software iPeMS® and HERE Real-Time Traffic Data-

SANTA ANA, Calif. – October 21, 2014 - Iteris, Inc.., a leader in providing intelligent traffic management and weather information solutions, partnering with HERE, a Nokia Company, was awarded a three-year contract to implement performance monitoring using its flagship traffic analytics and performance measurement system, iPeMS®, with HERE mapping and traffic data, for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC).

Under this contract, Iteris will work in partnership with HERE to deliver advanced traffic analytics to PTC. Through iPeMS, Iteris will provide PTC with robust analytic tools and archiving capabilities for real-time and historic traffic information powered by HERE’s probe-based traffic data. iPeMS will enable PTC users to access performance measurement visualizations that include travel time index, congestion contours, speed and anomaly maps, charts, plots and route-based reports.
