WOWT 6 News Nebraska: Iteris-developed Master Plan Supports Omaha’s Smart Roads Program to Help Drivers in Rush Hour

In support of the City of Omaha's comprehensive traffic plan, we are proud that the Iteris-developed transportation master plan, which addresses the problems of increased traffic congestion and delay, is already being implemented.

Thanks to funding from the Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program, Omaha is on its way to creating a new transportation system that will incorporate the needs of pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users while continuing to accommodate cars and other vehicles, and resulting in less congestion and travel time to across arterials.
