Iteris to Showcase the Latest Traffic Management Technologies at The 15th Annual World Congress On ITS-- Significant new projects and products illustrate Iteris’ expertise in offering products and services that reduce congestion and improve the mobility of our Transportation System --
Santa Ana, Calif. - Iteris, Inc. (AMEX: ITI), a leader in the traffic management market that focuses on the application and development of advanced technologies, today announced that the Company will showcase its latest Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) services and products in booth 1007 at the Fifteenth Annual World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), on November 16-20, 2008 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, New York. Over 10,000 participants are expected to attend this convention.
Iteris will debut several recent product releases in the video detection product lines including – the RZ-4 Advanced™ camera and EdgeConnect™, a quad-view remote communications module. The RZ-4 Advanced camera offers newly improved features which simplify field installation of Iteris’ Vantage® video detection systems, and will benefit end users by reducing installation time and expense. EdgeConnect provides both local and remote management of data and video over Ethernet - allowing traffic managers to view real-time video for up to four Vantage video detection cameras at the cabinet, in the TMC or wherever an internet connection is available.
Among the transportation systems projects that Iteris will feature are:
- Design/Build of the new I-35W bridge recently collapsed in Minneapolis. Iteris’ role in designing the ITS elements
- Design/Build of the City of Westminster, Traffic Signal Master Control System and ITS Project
- Utah Department of Transportation Legacy Parkway ATMS Planning, Design, and Deployment
- Planning and assisting with the migration for all GDOT district offices and over 50 local agencies that maintain and operate traffic signals throughout Georgia
- Iteris’ enhanced range of transportation software, including the UCR Link CVO support software to allow states to easily update the Federal Motor Carrier database; Google map-based incident planning and tracking; and expansion of Iteris’ personalized traveler information delivery to support mobile phones and community access television
