7.1.3–Obtain Toll Violator Image (Pspec*)
This process shall be responsible for obtaining an image of a violator for use by other processes. The form of the image data obtained by this process shall be very accurate so that there can be no mistake of the determination of the identity of the vehicle and/or driver, and shall be easily passed on by the other processes to the appropriate law enforcement agency(ies) so that punitive action may be taken. The process shall be capable of obtaining an image of the required accuracy under all lighting conditions and over the range of speeds with which vehicles will pass through the toll plaza.This Pspec is associated with the Roadway Payment Subsystem*.
