7.6.1.2–Calculate Vehicle VMT Charges (Pspec*)
This process shall be responsible for calculating the road use charges for the detected vehicle based on the vehicle's mileage, roads traveled, time periods, emissions profile for make/model, fuel economy for make/model, weight, axels, tires, or other policies. Current charging policies are received by the process from the Payment Administrator. Resultant VMT charges are sent to other processes for presentation to the driver and reconciliation of charges with a financial institution.This Pspec is associated with the Payment Administration Subsystem*.
