4.2.3.9–Update Transit Map Data (Pspec*)
This process shall provide updates to the store of digitized map data used by the transit route generation process and as the background for displays of transit services requested by the transit system operator. The process shall obtain the new data from a specialist data supplier or some other appropriate data source, after receiving an update request from the transit system operator interface process within the function. The processes requiring data for use in transit route generation and as the background to displays will read the data from the store loaded by this process.This Pspec is associated with the Transit Management Subsystem*.
