Application Interconnects or "A-Interconnects" were defined in the Physical View for use in SET-IT Layer 1 diagrams. They are defined as communications paths that carry information between 2 application objects on a Layer 1 physical diagram. They may contain one or more information flows between 2 objects. For version 2.1, the rules for creating/defining A-Interconnects were improved. They can now be viewed by CVRIA users as part of an overall Layer 1 perspective for each application.
