The tools used to generate the Communications View were revised to consider additional characteristics beyond time context. Now the Comm View differentiates between standards and boilerplate/placeholder text which were previously combined in a single table. The rules for generating profiles have been established based on current directions in the connected vehicle research activities. The result on the CVRIA website is that there are now many new profiles reflecting more combinations of standards for the different communications protocols.
